I'm a lover of most body scrubs. I even make my own from time to time just to cut down on costs. I was at the mall and walked by Origins but this scrub caught my eye so I stopped in. I asked the sales associate if I could try out the scrub. Tried it on my hands and loved the feeling I got. I asked the associate for the ingredients and she rattled them off to me. Nothing too bad. She also mentioned that they were buy one get one free which I was sold on. Ended up using it that same night and hated it. It does not mix well with Doctor Bronners soap. It actually caked up on to my loofa gloves and skin. Used it a second time and got same result. Now I'm stuck with two tubs of this stuff. No wonder why it was buy one get one free. They were probably trying to get rid of it.

The smell is repulsive. I couldn't even think about the scrub particles part because of the slippery, sliminess it left on my skin and in the tub. Not my style and a waste of 30 bucks :(

I really wanted to love this scrub, especially since it is $37.00. It performed at an average level for me which is disappointing because I don't particularly love the Origins ginger scent and I was really hoping that if the product blew me away that I could overlook the smell. I'd much rather stick with the more basic Origins products with less fancy packaging to save on cost.

I use the scrub at least once a week to restore moisture and remove dead skin. And it works. I have been using it since 2000. I have kept my skin look younger, clearer and softer. It's also good to moisturize your feet, just be careful not to fall, the oil can be slippery.
